"Superman is the most powerful, but also the most vulnerable, superhero you can imagine," Snyder says in the 13-minute special, which is chock full of clips
from the film, in addition to interviews with cast and crew members and glimpses of the movie's set during shooting.
Along with footage we've seen in "Man of Steel"'s previous trailers, the featurette offers fans a chance to understand the thought process behind decisions ranging from the choice of material for Superman's new suit -- and its lack of outside underwear -- to the selection of a recognizable, modern American setting, all while filmmakers grappled with the legacy of one of the world's most famous superheroes.
"The scope and scale of the movie is epic," Snyder says, and it's hard to argue based on the bursts of action the featurette offers at rapid-fire pace. Check it out for a taste of what to expect come June 14, when "Man of Steel" opens nationwide.
