No, seriously. I can’t tell you how many people have come to me with BlackBerry problems, and how many of them have been solved simply by pulling the battery. Freeing up temporary memory and giving the ol’ ‘Berry a fresh start works wonders. You should probably be pulling your battery once a week, if you’re not already doing so more because of issues (I am).
Cooper reminds me that freeing up flash memory can do the trick, too. You can check out how to trim the fat from your BlackBerry, or you can start by deleting sample media files and your Internet cache.
Next time you’ve got an issue, do these before you call anyone. Not that we mind helping out. It’s just that many problems are this easy to fix.
