Lindsay Lohan's mother has gotten herself into some trouble. Dina Lohan was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 12, for driving while intoxicated on Long Island, according to State Police.
Lohan, 50, was driving a white BMW on the Northern State Parkway in Oyster Bay at the time of the incident. She was pulled over around 11 p.m. after going 77 mph in a 55 mph zone. Lohan was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI when a breath test revealed that her blood alcohol concentration was twice the legal limit, at .20%.
Lohan was released after being taken in to the State Police in Farmingdale for processing, and an emergency personnel was later called in when the mother of two alleged that she was injured during the arrest. When no injures were found, she took back her claim.
The recent incident comes on the heels of daughter Lindsay trying to change her ways since being released from a 90-day court-mandated rehab stay on July 30. In an episode of Oprah's Next Chapter that aired Aug. 18, the Mean Girls actress revealed she hopes to "regain the trust of people" in her line of work. She also revealed that her parents Dina and Michael Lohan — who have had a tumultuous relationship in the past — are getting along just fine now.
The Canyons star was recently spotted looking refreshed at the Purple Magazine & Proenza Schouler Event for New York Fashion Week in NYC on Sept. 11.
