How to Change your CPU Configuration Details

Have you ever wondered how the processors details were configured? And some of us who would always wanna show up when it comes to internet and system, especially my Nigerian brothers, well if you are thinking to change your processor details to some higher or really lower to just prank your friends up, well we have got a nice tutorial for you that will allow you to fake your CPU Processor details to anything you would like to use.

You can easily change its name to other processor or you can write your own name or pretty much anything its upto you what you really wanna use. So now lets get started with the tutorial below.
Remember These changes are not permanent and will be reverted back as you restart your system (as reported by XP users, try in windows 7)

1. Open Run Windows + R and type regedit to open Registry Editor.
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > HARDWARE >DESCRIPTION > System > Central Processor > 0
3. Now you will see "ProcessorNameString" on the right double click it.
4. Now you will see your default details entered into it like in the image on the right.
5. Now just change those details with the one you wanna show to your friend.
6. That's it now press on OK and check your new system details, well you do not need to restart your system in order to apply these settings.

Now enjoy your system details, well you can use these details in order to prank your friends how high processor you have installed so they will be amazed how cool you are, well just for fun, so enjoy and have fun guys :)
