Amanda Seyfried tapped into her triple-X side to play "Deep Throat" porn star Linda Lovelace in the biopic "Lovelace," out this Friday, and the 27-year-old actress still has sex on the brain.
In an interview for this month's issue of GQ, she and co-star Peter Sarsgaard, who gets dark as Linda's abusive husband and manager, open up about their sex scenes in the movie and personal experiences with porn.
When asked what it was like to hit the sheets together on camera, Seyfried replies, "To be honest, that was, like, the least of our worries. It wasn't that bad. I mean, it was weird at first, but ... I didn't fear it like I used to."
Sarsgaard, however, is over filming sex scenes. "I don't want to do it anymore," the actor, who has two children with wife Maggie Gyllenhaal, admits. "I really don't want to do it anymore. I've been having a whole crisis with acting. I've lost my taste for both violence and sex -- in movies, in any case. To be honest, while we were doing the movie, it was fine. But in retrospect it makes me feel uneasy."
What makes us uneasy is that Seyfried says she was only five or six when she caught her first glimpse of porn. "You were six?" Sarsgaard asks, incredulous.
"[I]t was so terrifying," she recalls. "It was funny. But it was also, like, so, so, so wrong."
Um, yeah.
On a lighter note, Seyfried has pretty much the most amazing "porn name" (the name of your first pet plus the name of the street you grew up on) ever: Bad Pussy St. Cloud. Even Sarsgaard's -- Joey Buckingham -- is right up there with the likes of "Boogie Nights" gems Dirk Diggler and Chest Rockwell.
"Lovelace" opens in theaters this Friday.
